Sun­day School Teachers

We are look­ing for ded­i­cated indi­vid­u­als to teach and share with our chil­dren in Sun­day school. Children’s Sun­day school meets weekly with the excep­tion of the first Sun­days of each month when chil­dren (and teach­ers) are encour­aged to wor­ship with their families.

In order to nur­ture strong and last­ing rela­tion­ships, we ask teach­ers to com­mit to the full pro­gram year (September-May). Teach­ing teams can be arranged to pro­vide for more flex­i­ble sched­ul­ing. Cur­ricu­lum, train­ing and ongo­ing sup­port are pro­vided. Stipends are also available.

Our needs are in: Pre-kindergarten, 2nd grade and 4th grade.

Class­room Helpers

If you are look­ing for a more occa­sional oppor­tu­nity to vol­un­teer with chil­dren, con­sider being a class­room helper. Class­room Helpers are needed for each Sun­day school grade level and serve as sup­port for teach­ers and a lov­ing pres­ence for chil­dren. Par­ents need not vol­un­teer in their child’s class­room, but can indi­cate the age they feel most called to nur­ture. Please con­sider shar­ing your gifts with the chil­dren of HAUMC through this no-prep opportunity.
