Young Adults

Life is always changing, especially when you are in your 20′s and 30′s. Most likely you are fairly new to the area or have made a major transition in your life lately, or both! And when you are in the midst of transition, it’s important to find a community. That’s why at Hennepin Church we have several opportunities for you to connect with other young adults on a monthly or weekly basis. Check out the opportunities below and feel free to contact any of the leaders you see. We want you to find community with others so you can grow in your faith and make a difference right in your own neighborhood. Everyone is always welcome, so find something that fits you and jump in!

Thank you for your interest in Young Adults. Use the form below to contact this ministry and someone will email you back shortly.

Young Adult Dinner Party

Young Adult Dinner Party

Young Adult Dinner Groups are meeting on a monthly basis. Every four months or so we all get together to get to know other people, create new groups, and give people a chance to swap groups depending on schedules, friends, etc. The Dinner Party is on Tues, Jan. 31st, from 6:30-8:30pm. There you can come meet the hosts of the groups, get to know other people, and then decide if you want to be in a dinner group.

Little Kids, BIG Fun is back!
Sun October 9th, 2011
10:30 AM

Little Kids, BIG Fun is moving to Sundays! Too busy to come during the week? Now you won’t miss out on seeing church friends because of the traffic. We will reserve an alcove to the Social Hall each 2nd Sunday so that families can eat together, and then from 11am-Noon we’ll have some separate grown up and kid activities. (This also gives you the option of eating at noon instead or just coming down for a cup of coffee to meet other families.) Cost of brunch is $5 per person or $12 per family/household. First Sunday is October 9th: Parents can stay and chat at brunch or go upstairs to hear Doug Wood, the author of Old Turtle, speak in the Art Gallery. Kids will either have outdoor fun time on the playground or games inside, depending on the weather.
