Club 56 will be mak­ing 230 Valen­tine treat bags to give to every child stay­ing at the local shel­ter for chil­dren and fam­i­lies, Peo­ple Serv­ing Peo­ple. We will be col­lect­ing dona­tions of candy, bag dec­o­ra­tions and small cash gifts at our table in Carl­son Hall on Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.

A few weeks ago, 15 stu­dents embraced their bap­tism and con­firmed their faith through the wor­ship rit­ual of Con­fir­ma­tion. These stu­dents con­tinue on a jour­ney that the faith com­mu­nity of Hen­nepin Church should con­tinue to support.

Join us on Sep­tem­ber 11th as we cel­e­brate the start of a new year of children’s Sun­day school.

Youth are a val­ued part of our faith com­mu­nity. We need ded­i­cated indi­vid­u­als who will teach our young stu­dents about how God is a part of our every­day life. You can teach! God is call­ing you to be a gift to the young stu­dents at Hen­nepin Church.

Grades 5 and 6 see this pow­er­ful pro­duc­tion of bul­lies, includ­ing cyber bullies.
