PLAN NOW! Jan. 10 – 22, 2016 UMCOR Sager Brown Mission Trip
Plan ahead to enjoy the warmer days of Louisiana, the warm friendships formed with a mission team from Hennepin Church and with other volunteers that converge at UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee on Relief) Sager Brown, and the warm feelings that come from hands on service to our neighbors in Baldwin, LA and all around the world.
Be part of the 19th annual Hennepin mission trip. Sign on for one week or two and join others in the many and varied opportunities for service in the disaster relief depot where kits are processed for around the world distribution, in the local community where volunteers make repairs for homeowners physically and/or financially unable to do so on their own, and in the local schools and community agencies. Join Wednesday and weekend spontaneous excursions to explore Louisiana geography, history and culture in its many parks, museums and historical sites.
Registration remains open until Oct. 4. Once the roster of 20 fills, additional names are put on a stand-by list. Transportation is an individual responsibility but rides to and from the Lafayette, LA airport can be coordinated. See umcorsagerbrown.org for more information about the ministries of UMCOR Sager Brown. For registration or trip information call 952.922.3449 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
