Hospitality at Hennepin can be viewed as the way we treat each other within the community– greeting each other at the door, welcoming each other into new ministries, encouraging everyone to use their gifts in ways that are life giving and help the world. Hospitality is also the way we treat our neighbors: those living right nearby and those living across the world. It is a part of who we are to live hospitably– to respect others’ ideas and to listen to one another. Hospitality isn’t just a committee or the coffee that’s provided on Sunday mornings. Hospitality is a way of living that we believe Christ modeled and that we try to follow.
