Bell Choirs

Vision Statement

The Ministry of Music at Hennepin seeks to energize and beautify worship and the lives of both hearers and participants. Both inside the church and in the greater community, we seek to bring glory to God through the gifts God has given us: voices, hands, faces, each other, art, and above all, God’s love.

Our handbell ensembles are an important part of our ministry at Hennepin. Two of the groups are currently on hiatus. Call the Music Office for more information, 612-435-1319 or contact William Mathis here.

Hennepin Chime – adults – Thursdays 7:00-9:00. The Chime leads in worship about monthly, gives a spring concert on the Music at Hennepin Series, and occasionally plays in the community. They participate in at least one massed ringing festival each season.

Hennepin Ringers – youth – currently on hiatus Bells of Joy – children – currently on hiatus Bells of the Lakes – adults – a community-based professional handbell ensemble begun by Hennepin Church 14 years ago, still meets at the Church, and is seen by many as an outreach ministry.
